Has George Will Acquired a Ghost Writer?

I read one of George Will's columns in my local paper this morning. Don't ask why.
Perhaps it was the headline that was irresistible to someone who's always nattering about the law.

Now it turns out the headline is a story in itself.

See, in my paper, the lowly Brunswick News ('lowly' because very thin when not stuffed with glossy advertising inserts and coupons to clip) came up with this title:

Examiners' case heading to court
It's an entirely appropriate and timely title, especially given Will's opening sentence:
WASHINGTON -- Come Tuesday, the national pastime will be the subject of oral arguments in a portentous Supreme Court case.
If you're thinking baseball, you'd be wrong.  I'm not going to give you the link for the Brunswick News version on the editorial page, because you'd probably have to subscribe to read. Besides, since the column was originally published last Friday, you can go straight to the horse's mouth, so to speak, the Washington Post. Except you probably won't want to because their headline makes it sound like a totally frivolous matter about which Will is opining tongue-in-cheek.
